Dorset

The main highlight of the Dorset scenery is the spectacular Jurassic Coast, 95 miles of beautiful coastline and a World Heritage site due to its importance in the development of geology and palaeontology.  The South West coastal path follows the entire coastline, giving access to many scenic viewpoints. Inland, there are many picture-book villages, with thatched cottages and attractive honey coloured buildings, set in a landscape of rolling hills and farmlands.  So although Dorset does not boast any mountains or moorland, there are plenty of opportunities for the keen photographer.
