Old Harry Rocks mark the eastern of the Dorset Jurassic Coast, and round off the coastline in spectacular fashion. The rocks are a series of chalk sea stacks that stand off the coast north of Swanage – all that remains of a land bridge that once reached the Isle of Wight. The name ‘Old Harry’ strictly only applies to the furthermost stack, but there are other sea stacks, pinnacles and spectacular cliffs to enjoy if the coast walk is continued a short distance over Ballard Down. Old Harry rocks can be reached by a 1.5 mile walk from a National Trust car park in Studland.
