Holkham Hall is an 18th Century Hall, built between 1734 and 1764. Holkham is a large 25,000 acre estate, which includes several working farms. The Hall is surrounded by an extensive deer park and also features a lake with numerous birds, a walled garden and woodland areas. The park and gardens are open every day, however the Hall is only open on Sunday, Monday and Thursday between April and October. Sadly, the Hall was closed when we visited, so we have no interior views of the Hall.
Full details about the estate are available at the Holkham website.
