Norfolk in the south east of England is well known for being very flat, and in fact has the lowest high point of any county in England at just 103m. The county is mostly agricultural so the main interest for the landscape photographer lies along the coast, particularly the along the north coast which is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and the Norfolk Broads. Norfolk is also well known for its many windmills that make excellent subjects for early morning misty shots.
Currently we have only visited the North Norfolk Coast, so all posts are from that area. This is an area of tidal marshes and creeks which is an internationally important area for wading birds. In addition to many small villages and harbours, this area also has several Wildlife reserves as well as the resort towns of Hunstanton and Cromer.
